KOMU Friday Night Fever
During my time at Mizzou, I had the opportunity to experience the broadcast journalism setting through KOMU 8, the only university owned commercial network affiliate in the U.S. and a working newsroom for journalism students. Working in a professional newsroom setting taught me how to respond in the moment, collaborate under deadlines, and adapt content for different platforms. These are skills I now apply to any digital marketing or media role I pursue.
